Women's Night: Meet the Artist Melissa Chipps, Free Event, September 10th at 5:00 pm

Join us for an intimate Women's Night at Thistles, featuring Monroe-based abstract artist Melissa Chipps. Melissa will showcase her original artwork for sale, along with a special collection created for her church — six pieces representing each season of the Christian calendar: Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time. Melissa, and community members, will walk us through the major themes of each season and the inspiration behind her work. The Wijn House will be on-site selling glasses of wine, and Thistles will provide appetizers. This event is free, but RSVP is requested so we can plan accordingly.

Melissa is a Monroe-based abstract artist and longtime marketing branding specialist whose acrylic work explores movement, color, and emotion.
