Celebrate the beauty of local craftsmanship with Centennial Blend Marcy, a distinctive tulip mixture designed right here in Pella by longtime city gardener Marcy Simbro-Woodhouse. Marcy has dedicated over 17 years to Pella’s tulip legacy, planting more than 400 tulip varieties and also creating the beloved Chic Lady tulip.

This unique blend combines Sun Lover, Double Negrita, and Purple Dream tulips. While only three varieties, the remarkable color range of Sun Lover—from sunny yellow to fiery orange and rich red—creates the illusion of a much larger mix. The result is a vibrant, ever-changing display that brings the heart of Pella’s Tulip Time into your own garden.

You’ll find Centennial Blend Marcy blooming mid to late spring in the middle of the sundial garden downtown. Just to the east sits our store, Thistles Flower Market—where tulip magic continues year-round.
